In the United States women are born with more social, economical and political freedoms than the majority of the other 194 countries in the world. Posh Abilities was founded on the idea that it is a great honor, as women of the United States, to advocate for those women who have limited control of not only their daily lives, but of their futures and those of their families. In many countries women lack the basic protections of fundamental human rights laws, and without the right to vote, to own property or to earn a living women are vulnerable to their countries law makers who will almost exclusively pass laws that protect people who “count”.
If you can not vote, if you can not own property and if you do not have the ability to make a living…you DO NOT COUNT to policy makers.
Posh Abilities supports a core group of international humanitarian organizations who are central to understanding the national and international policies that affect women. Through our Advocacy Projects, members are connected with key issues and projects in support of women’s rights at home and around the globe. Our projects can be as simples as signing an email petition or by joining thousands of others as we lobby congress in support of global women’s issues.

Posh Abilities is a non-profit organization that inspires women locally to empower women globally, offering unique and convenient ways to join the movement toward the empowerment of girls and women from next door to around the world. Posh Abilities is a non-profit extension of Posh Able Events a corporate and social event planning firm based in Orlando, Florida. We are a 100% volunteer organization and we do not collect monetary donations.
